The Summer Internship Program will be led by Arsheen Qader, a seasoned recruiter and passionate mentor with a talent for bringing out the best in others. Arsheen plays a key role in shaping the future of the firm by identifying individuals who embody the firm’s values of justice, equality, and excellence. With a career rooted in mentoring others—from college campuses to the workplace—Arsheen brings a warm, people-first approach to mentorship.
Her favorite part of the job? Helping young people find their voice and potential as they begin to explore what a meaningful career can look like.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for high school students who are curious, driven, and ready to challenge the law and all of its rules. If you want to gain experience in a real office environment and want to see how law is practiced to protect workers, hold bad actors accountable, and make an impact—you just might be a great candidate for this highly selective and competitive internship program.
Ideal candidates are open-minded, eager to learn, and motivated to be part of a team. Whether your passion is for books or broadcast, research or communication, there’s truly a place for everyone here.
This program is designed for rising 11th and 12th graders and runs from July 8 through August 2, 2024. We know the summer can be busy with vacations, school responsibilities, and more, so we’ve made sure students will still have time to enjoy their summer break while exploring the professional world. It’s a short program with long-term impact, and we’re just as committed to helping students grow as they are to growing themselves. More than just a summer job, this is a stepping stone. Our program is designed to help students explore different career options, build mentorship relationships, and feel empowered to pursue big dreams. Many of our students go on to intern here again in the future—and some even find themselves applying to full-time careers at D.Law later on.
