Karen Daniel
Director of People and CultureI’ve dedicated my career to serving people. Across creative agencies, the music industry, telecommunications, and the nonprofit sector, I’ve focused on developing talent, fostering inclusivity, and building strong, supportive teams. Today, I’m proud to bring that passion to D.Law—a law firm rooted in kindness and generosity.
I was born in Syria and immigrated to the U.S. with my family in 1978. After growing up in Los Angeles, I earned a BA in Urban Studies from San Francisco State University, where I centered my studies on social service. My career began as a Placement Specialist, helping high school students secure paid internships in city government—an experience that sparked my lifelong dedication to empowering others..
I’m committed to creating inclusive workplaces, supporting growth, and aligning people and operations for success. Outside of work, I stay active in my community through volunteer efforts and love cooking alongside my husband—we make a great team in the kitchen.
In 2023, I was elected to the Executive Board of the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council – my first role as public official – where I had the opportunity to represent my neighborhood and help shape local initiatives.
