Joanna Burstedt
Associate Attorney450 N. Brand Blvd, Suite 840, Glendale, CA 91203
Throughout my education and into my career, I have remained dedicated to pursuing purpose-driven work. I attended Brigham Young University to study political science and environmental science, focusing on how environmental and land use issues affect local communities. I later obtained a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law where I volunteered with on-campus clinics and the Legal Aid Society of San Diego to provide free legal services to the people who need it most.
In my practice as an employment attorney, I help employees assert their legal rights and obtain justice so they can build a brighter future. I have experience advocating for workers’ rights in class action, PAGA, and individual cases involving wage abuse, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. I believe all employees deserve to be treated with dignity by their employers and compensated for all of their work hours.
In my spare time, you can find me attending yoga classes, streaming new TV series, and spending time outside.
I taught myself how to knit during law school using YouTube videos and enjoy knitting handmade gifts for my friends and family.
