Jose Lopez
Litigation ParalegalAs a recipient of the Posse Foundation’s Full-Tuition Leadership Scholarship I was afforded the opportunity to attended and graduated from Kalamazoo College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I also hold a Paralegal Certificate from University of California, Los Angeles – Extension.
I began my legal career as a legal assistant supporting attorney’s litigating in federal court on wage and hour cases and in the process found a passion advocating for farmworker and immigrant worker’s rights. Within a few years, I had transitioned into the role of paralegal and began working on collective-action cases and cases regarding federal labor and trafficking laws. By 2021, I moved back to my home state of California and became involved in advocating for housing rights and evictions defense for indigent individuals and their families in the San Fernando Valley. As a Litigation Paralegal with D.Law I leverage my prior experiences to deliver the highest level of quality, service, and dedication as a worker’s right advocate.
In my spare time you will find me hiking familiar trails on the westside, visiting clear waters along the coast, or attending exciting concerts.
I raced bicycles semi-professionally participating in road races, criteriums, and sprints.
