I grew up in the Houston/Galveston area of Texas, where I spent most of my life fishing, boating, and swimming in the Texas heat. My father was an aerospace engineer at NASA at Johnson Space Center. My mother was from Argentina. I am a proud Red Raider and went to undergraduate and law school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
After I graduated from law school, I worked as a legal aid attorney and community organizer for 10 years, where I litigated hundreds of cases on behalf of the indigent community. Later, I went into private practice as a trial attorney in civil and family law cases.
My family and I moved to the State of California, where I began a litigation practice in the area of labor and employment law. I passed two separate bar exams and I am licensed to practice law in the great states of Texas and California.
During my leisure time, I enjoy international travel with my husband and three children. Also, I am an artist and a painter. My house is filled with my paintings!
My favorite recording artist is the great Texas Country Singer, George Strait. You can take the girl out of Texas but you can’t take Texas out of the girl!
