A Decade of D.Law
Day One
Emil turned 30 and launched more than just a birthday post—he launched a law firm. With this announcement, Davtyan Professional Law Corporation was officially in motion.
Humble Beginnings

Built with Love
A quick selfie, a big dream, and two people all in. This was the heart of it all before anything had a logo—just hustle, hope, and each other. # of Employees: 1
File Cabinets
Before the cloud, before the case management systems… there was this beauty. Behold: our original “server.” Proof that yes, we really used to print things—and sometimes even find them again. # of Employees: 1
Losing It (Just a Little)
Running a business solo will do things to a man. Here's proof. # of Employees: 1
The First Hire
Welcoming our very first team member marked a turning point—from a solo mission to a shared vision. The foundation of the D.Law team began here. # of Employees: 2

Crucial strategy session underway. Location: the car. Mood: intense. Facial expressions: 100% business. # of Employees: 2
Planting Roots in Glendale
Recognizing our future in Glendale, we opened a second office—keeping Nina and Vardui closer to home and setting the stage for a growing team in the heart of where we knew we’d thrive. # of Employees: 4
Office Upgrades
As the team grew, so did our need for room to collaborate and connect. We expanded both our Woodland Hills and Glendale offices—bigger spaces to match our bigger ambitions. # of Employees: 9
One Roof, One Team
We came together to invest in something bigger—a newly renovated Glendale building that became our unified home. Merging both offices into one space marked a new era of collaboration, culture, and growth. # of Employees: 16
A New Name, A Sharper Identity
We transitioned from Davtyan Professional Law Corporation to Davtyan Law Firm—a clearer, stronger reflection of who we were becoming. Along with the name came a new logo, a refreshed identity, and a step forward in our brand’s evolution. # of Employees: 16
Rough Lines, Big Identity
Before it was polished, it was a sketch. This was the first glimpse of the mark that would become part of our visual identity. # of Employees: 16
COVID
When COVID-19 hit, we briefly shifted to working from home like the rest of the world. But as employment issues surged, so did the need for our work. What followed was our biggest hiring wave ever—doubling the size of our team in a single sweep and rising to meet the moment. # of Employees: 30
First Attorney Hire
Until now, our founder carried the full weight of legal work. Hiring our first attorney was a defining moment—transforming D.Law from a solo legal practice into a growing legal team, and marking the start of shared expertise and expanded impact. # of Employees: 35
Not Just an Office
5AM. Formula 1. Pajamas and coffee. Somewhere along the way, this place stopped being just where we worked—and started feeling like our second home. # of Employees: 40
TikTok Takes Off
It all began with one video and a willingness to try something new. That first TikTok sparked a wave of creativity that led to hundreds of thousands of followers—and a brand new way to connect. # of Employees: 44
Our First Billboard
"We ❤️ Our People." In 2022, we took our message to the streets—literally. Just steps from the office, our first billboard proudly declared what we’ve always believed: people come first. # of Employees: 48
A Headquarters to Match Our Momentum
We outgrew the building we once proudly called home—faster than we imagined. To keep up with our expanding team and big ambitions, we moved into a brand new headquarters built for where we were headed, not just where we’d been. # of Employees 52
D.Law Acquires Kevin T. Barnes Law Practice
In a major step forward, we acquired the Kevin T. Barnes firm—bringing litigation in-house for the first time. This move deepened our legal bench, expanded our capabilities, and reaffirmed our commitment to protecting California’s working class with strength and strategy. # of Employees 60
Yeremian Law Joins D.Law
Continuing our growth, we joined forces with David Yeremian’s law firm—bringing in more top-tier litigators and strengthening our in-house capabilities. This strategic move helped solidify D.Law as a true employment law powerhouse, ready to take on even more for California’s working class. # of Employees: 80
Best Place to Work in LA
In 2023, D.Law was named the #1 Mid-Size Business in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “100 Best Places to Work” awards. It was a proud moment—not just for what we do, but for how we do it: with purpose, culture, and care for one another. # of Employees: 88
A Name You Can Say (and Remember)
We loved the legacy, but let’s face it—Davtyan wasn’t the easiest name to pronounce. So, we became D.Law: simpler, sleeker, and ready for what’s next. # of Employees: 93
Pasadena Bound
At our end-of-year party, we announced our boldest move yet—a brand new headquarters in Pasadena, designed by Corsini Stark Architects and set to open in 2026. This future home will bring all of D.Law’s divisions under one roof, reflecting not just our growth, but our evolution. As we continue to expand our impact, the new building stands as a symbol of what’s ahead: deeper unity, greater service, and even bigger possibilities. # of Employees: 100
