I am an associate attorney at D.Law that is licensed to practice law before all state and federal courts in California. As a member of the wage and hour class action practice group, I draft and negotiate settlement agreements for complex class actions and representative actions brought pursuant to the Private Attorneys General Act (“PAGA”).
After earning my undergraduate degree from Emerson College and my two graduate degrees from Chapman University, I enrolled in the two-year accelerated SCALE Program at Southwestern Law School. I graduated cum laude in the top 10% of my class, earning my Juris Doctor with a Concentration in Entertainment and Media Law with Honors.
During law school, I served on the staff of the Southwestern Law Review, which published my law article that earned me the Bluebook Award. I was a student editor for the Journal of International Media and Entertainment Law, a clinician for the Entertainment & the Arts Legal Clinic, a mentor for the Entertainment Law Society, and executive board member for the Intellectual Property Law Society. I also served as a Dean’s Fellow, a member of the Honor Code Committee, and a Teaching Assistant for several classes. I earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award on multiple occasions for my top grades across certain classes. My other honors include the Dean’s Merit Award, qualifying as a brief writer finalist, making the Dean’s List, and becoming a recipient of the merit-based full-tuition Wildman/Schumacher Scholarship.
Before joining D.Law, I drafted and negotiated settlement agreements while working at Lavi & Ebrahimian, LLP. Prior to that, I worked on the talent and studio side of the entertainment industry, preparing employment agreements and drafting contracts for prominent actors, writers, and directors. I also serve on the executive board for the Women Lawyers of Long Beach, an organization dedicated to the advancement of women in the profession of law.
